About Arlene

Arlene Stevens is a Reiki Master who has been practicing Reiki since 1996. In addition to providing individual in-person and distanced sessions by appointment, Arlene uses her Reiki expertise to train others by teaching at four levels including Reiki I, Reiki II, ART, and the Masters level. After years of receiving Spiritual Direction, Arlene decided she wanted to share that experience with others through Spiritual Coaching.

    • Believes the calming and centering energy of Reiki should be shared, and supports this through continual learning and practice

    • Previously served as a Reiki volunteer at Jefferson Regional Hospital, providing individual sessions to Oncology and Joint Replacement patients

    • Helped create a Reiki Pilot Project at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital, offering Reiki to women undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer. During this time, she published a study on the effects of Reiki Therapy and Companionship during Chemotherapy.

    • Provided Reiki services to hospice patients at various Pittsburgh facilities

    • Brought Reiki to the community through presentations and demonstrations at libraries, churches, and healthcare support groups

    • Contributed to the development and facilitation of a semi-monthly Healing and Wholeness Service incorporating Reiki at the Franciscan Spirit and Life Center in Whitehall, PA

    • Member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals, supporting practitioner growth and public awareness of Reiki
